responsibilities

Reporting directly to the CEO as first marketing hire you will own day-to-day digital marketing operations, including campaigns, blogging efforts and content repurposing/development

  • Drive website traffic and increase lead generation, including strategies for landing page optimization, increased and improved content and social media engagement
  • Work with senior leadership team to implement and maintain the strategy for inbound and outbound marketing programs
  • Establish, monitor and analyze program and campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization and growth
  • Own the day-to-day execution of demand generation plans, including email programs, nurturing campaigns, tracking and measurement
  • Create content that aligns with our buyers’ personas, interests and needs
  • Develop new content and offers from scratch to address problems or gaps in our content strategy

qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Writing samples are required as part of the application process.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask without losing attention to detail
  • Independent but collaborative work style
  • Passionate about spotting trends leading to new and innovative ways to grow traffic through content
  • Excellent marketing, planning and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with website and landing-page optimization, lead gen, A/B testing and analytics
  • Familiarity with marketing automation (HubSpot) / CRM software (Salesforce)– direct experience with HubSpot is a big plus
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing, direct-response programs and marketing-automation best practices
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM is not required, but a plus
