Title: Director of Demand Generation and Revenue Marketing
About the job:
We’re looking for a passionate, metrics-driven revenue marketer to join our growing go-to-market team. The Director of Revenue Marketing / Demand Generation has the demanding (pun intended!) and rewarding responsibility of leading the overall pipeline generation strategy and ensuring MadKudu has a predictable, scalable revenue engine in place.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, collaborative leader to come into a quickly growing startup to own and continue growing a team of revenue-obsessed marketers. The role is perfect for someone who loves a challenge, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to bring their proven success and learnings to a growing marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- Build a multi-channel, integrated campaign strategy that drives revenue and pipeline across all stages of the funnel including programs for lead generation, nurturing, and deal acceleration
- Own the development, execution, and optimization of all digital and offline pipeline generation efforts including performance marketing, email marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), field & events marketing (in-person and virtual), content marketing, and partner marketing
- Establish a culture of testing and experimentation while driving to a long-term strategy
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, product teams to design and execute campaigns for target segments that leverage key messages and value propositions
- Optimize the end-to-end lead management process in collaboration with sales
- Partner closely with sales and sales development on campaign follow-up, outreach strategies, and ABM initiatives
- Define quarterly and yearly KPIs and budget; track KPIs and channel/program performance against monthly/quarterly targets
- Forecast, measure, and report on the impact(s) of demand activities on pipeline, revenue
- Attract and hire new team members while mentoring and coaching existing employees to advance in their careers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing; 3+ years managing a team of marketers
- Excellent organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and strong project management skills
- Ability to multitask and ruthlessly prioritize
- Love of analytics and a proven track record of analyzing campaign performance
- Positive “can-do” attitude, ability to deal with high-growth pains/challenges, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinker who can put together unique marketing campaigns that stand out
