Email Marketing Manager
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an Email Marketing/ Marketing Automation Manager to execute global end-to-end lead nurture programs with email at their core. You will build integrated programs utilizing our cutting-edge marketing technology stack — building emails, developing workflow rules and creating & maintaining email nurtures to the latest best practices. You are a dynamic marketer with a can-do attitude who will continuously test, propose and execute on optimizations to improve performance and efficiency.
You will be a key member of the demand generation, results-driven marketing team working to develop, deploy and manage nurture programs using Marketo. You will report to the Director of Digital Marketing.
What you will do:
- Plan and implement trigger-based nurturing programs (with emphasis on email) in Marketo
- Create segments for marketing programs based on buyer personas
- Design programs aligned to the buyer’s journey thru the sales funnel
- Convert business and technical messaging into short, compelling copy for email and landing pages
- Utilize segmentation, automation, and customization to drive engagement improvements
- Oversee flawless delivery of messages, troubleshooting issues and implementing changes to avoid future impact.
- Deploy A/B testing initiatives to increase retention and conversion metrics
- Coordinate program execution collaborating with and supporting the extended marketing team
- Measure success against industry benchmarks and iterate strategies and tactics to improve programs over time
- Invest time in research and continue learning to drive the latest innovations into our email programs
What it takes:
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on Marketo experience building lead nurture programs
- Strategic thinker and hands-on executor
- Outstanding writing skills with proven success creating compelling marketing copy
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Powerful project management skills
- Strong knowledge of Demand Generation and Marketing
- Exceptional team player
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for metrics, data, and process
- Certified (or able to become certified) on Marketo platforms and applications
- HTML/CSS skills are a PLUS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business preferred
