about the client

This client company is a rapidly growing provider of SaaS project management and collaboration solutions.


  • Drive and monitor A/B and multivariate tests to optimize freemium account signups and daily active usage; work with Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to implement improvements
  • Make data-informed decisions around generating demand, activating customers and driving product usage, in order to improve results through continuous testing and refinement strategies
  • Know the funnel inside and out: track the way new users interact with our site and products, and iterate to maximize freemium account registrations and DAUs
  • Test and optimize acquisition strategies leveraging customer referrals and in-product viral hooks
  • Plan and execute paid search, SEO, affiliate marketing, lead buying, display, online video, bid management, advertising serving and drive our overall strategy; optimize new user CPA and overall unit economics
  • Partner with our creative talent to design digital campaigns that reinforce and complement our brand messages and are optimized for new customer acquisition
  • Design effective email programs to reach and nurture users at each stage of the funnel
  • Drive business case development, forecasting, scenario planning, ROI analysis, budget optimization, spreadsheet and financial modeling


  • Experience growing subscriptions in freemium and paid subscription products, and self-service sales models (designing pricing, paywalls and packaging of high value offerings)
  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing, growth and/or demand generation of a B2B product or service at significant scale
  • CRO experience designing and implementing A/B and multivariate tests
  • Strong analytical skills with extensive experience around testing and optimizing
  • Substantial experience working with performance marketing metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC, LTV & CAC)
  • Tactical experience working within digital channels (Email, Display, Social, Search, Affiliate/Referral)
  • You have a strategic mind and can derive insights, recommendations and action plans from qualitative market trends, customer feedback and large data sets
  • Experience in/around a startup, growth-stage company- you are agile and able to adapt quickly, operating in a high growth SaaS business
  • You’re energetic, passionate, collaborative and open to new ideas, and enjoy working with like-minded people
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward


BA/BS required. MBA preferred.
